Home early again.
This storm was pretty rough and the job site is a mess again, but no real damage was done. My dad and his friend David came and helped me caulk. I worked until my Dewalt batteries ran out. After picking up some stuff at the cottage I stopped by to see Debbie then drove home a day early. Tomorrow I will be working around our house.
Doors, cedar, and impending storm.
I said goodbye to the family this morning and then went to pick up my door and some cedar for my dad. He helped me install the door. The winds have been gusting all day and tonight we are supposed to get a lot of rain as well.
Home early.
I came home on a Tuesday because I need to pick up a door in town tomorrow. Luke and I played a bit this evening.
Muddy Monday.
I tried to do some tractor work this morning but it was still so wet. I worked under the house instead. My big accomplishment was cutting the lock off my storage unit because I left the key in Columbia.
Grinding away.
This morning I took trash to the dump at the same time Liz and Luke went to High Hopes. Then I went to see the doctor, who gave me a good report. I only had to wait an hour for the privilege of three minutes with him. Next I went to therapy and that went well also. Finally I was on the road to Monteagle via Lewisburg and Fayetteville. I was able to work on the house some, and the plumber came to install the water line.
