Luke’s school actually canceled yesterday afternoon before a single flake had fallen. We probably got about two inches overnight. It is pretty, and not many folks are on the road. We’ve got a fire going and Luke is looking forward to sledding.

On Thursday after school Luke and I drove up to Monteagle. My dad was up there and we went to dinner at the Mountain Goat Market. We talked with Eric a bit and enjoyed some tasty pizza. On Friday morning we started working on the treehouse. It was cold but not miserable. My mother came up as well. We spent just about all day working. Now we just lack a few things – caulking some holes, hinges for one door, and boards for the bottom bunk and a ladder. I have all of these things at home. Luke and I went to the campus dining hall for dinner. This morning we hung out a little, then walked on the Mountain Goat Trail with my mother. We drove down to Shelbyville and had lunch with her before continuing home.
This was another entertaining book in the Genghis Khan series. I’m excited to still have two more to go.
The is the second book in a series of five. I read the first last year. I bit the bullet and ordered the remaining four off Thrift Books last week. They are highly entertaining and I feel very informative. Can’t wait to start the next one this evening.
This was quite interesting, but a little preachy at times. It was very informative though.
