Getting a little settled.

Luke slept well but woke up pretty early this morning. It was raining until after breakfast, but he went outside to play with Liz once the sun came out. I stayed inside and started processing some of the pumpkins we brought home. The rest of the day involved more pumpkins, an attempted nap (mine, Luke napped very successfully), and some Legos. Luke was a bit hesitant to go to bed, but eventually he did.

Leaving Michigan, but not empty handed.

This morning we loaded up the car and hit the road just after nine. The drive was uneventful other than me missing a turn that took us on a different, but not any slower, route. We made a few stops that took some time, but Luke did very well and seemed to enjoy the drive. I enjoyed the fact that he took a couple of naps. We arrived home around 7:30, ate dinner, then did bath and bed time. Hopefully he will sleep well tonight.

Last full day in Michigan.

The weather turned cold again but we still got a few things done. John and I watched Luke after breakfast so Liz and Becky could get some things done, then we went to get hay. This afternoon I messed around on the computer while Luke napped, then we did some stuff in the sheds. After dinner I went to Meijer for a few things.

Cold in Michigan.

As forecast, the cold rolled in last night. It was chilly today but never miserable. John and I started the day by driving around a bit before ending up at the Habitat Restore to look for a door for the shooting shed. Unfortunately it was closed, so we just made one out of plywood. After lunch we drove over to Muskegon to look around Harbor Freight. This evening we all had dinner and I played with Luke a bit.
