Getting things done.

Luke and I drove up to High Hopes this morning for speech therapy. He has a new therapist on Thursdays now, and we really liked her. Back home we had snack and waited for my dad to arrive in his fancy new truck. When he did we helped him load some wood for a project he is working on. Nap was again split between Luke’s room and the sofa, but he got a lot of sleep, and that is what matters. This afternoon we built Legos and Luke watched while I tried to organize my office a bit. He didn’t want to go to bed this evening.

Having more fun.

Luke and I read and played this morning, then did some stuff outside and in the garage once it warmed up. Nap was a little bit of a struggle. He didn’t want to go down so we both lay on the floor for about an hour. I left and he came out fifteen minutes later. Then he slept on the couch for another hour and a half or so. This afternoon we played and read some more. He really likes the last two books from Miss Dolly.

Getting back in the routine.

This morning Luke and I left the house fairly early in order to go to High Hopes. He had both occupational and speech therapy there today. That went pretty well, especially speech. Miss Sarah is very pleased with his progress. From there we drove up to the playground in Brentwood where we met my parents. Luke was happy to see them after several weeks away. The weather was lovely and he played and ate a nice snack. We made it home in time for lunch and then attempted a nap. He really wasn’t interested. Later this afternoon Liz watched him while I went to Home Depot in Spring Hill. There I got a couple of things for her and an impact wrench for me. After I returned she worked some more while Luke and I played. Dinner was nice and he went to bed pretty easily.
