Finally seeing some blue sky!
The day started cloudy, so Luke and I read and played indoors all morning. After Liz got off work we went on a hike at the nature park. It was great to be outside. During Luke’s nap I got all caught up on Hawaii Five-O. Now just three episode of Magnum PI and I will be current again.
Lots of Luke, lots of driving.
I was on Luke duty today and it was a lot of fun. And a lot of work, but fun. We read a new book that came from the Imagination Library yesterday. We read it a lot. We also emptied the dishwasher, built with Legos, and played with the new playdough. We went outside for a while as well. After liz got off work I drove up to the Mountain to get all my tools from the house and button things down for a couple of weeks. I also picked up my clothes and papers from the cottage. Then I drove home.
Fun with Luke continues.
This isolation is making me nuts. It doesn’t seem to be affecting Luke. We played a lot today, and did some organizing in the spare room too. I also watched a couple of episodes of Hawaii Five-0 during his nap. I watched a couple more this evening too. That is nice, but it does feel like I should be doing something more productive. Maybe after I get caught up I will shift gears. In the meantime it’s a fun diversion. This afternoon we went to the greenway. Unfortunately we weren’t able to walk for too long before it started raining. Luke still enjoyed running around and picking flowers though.
Artist, chef, playdougher.
It was another inside day, but we made the most of it. We made breakfast cookies for breakfast, then a new batch of playdough. I cooked lunch in the slow cooker and Liz baked bread. Luke built towers out of blocks and drew a lot. I went to Target in Spring Hill for a few things. We were wanting to go to the nature park after Luke’s nap but it started raining. We were able to video chat with my mother though. Dinner was good and so was bath time. He nursed and went to bed happy.
