Stunning morning.
I went outside early this morning and was rewarded with quite possibly the most beautiful scene I have witnessed here on Liz’s family farm. There was a little fog, then the sun rose gently and bathed everything in soft light. I had set up the cameras last night to photograph the stars and lightning, but wasn’t too pleased with how the pictures turned out. I’ll try again tonight. My father-in-law and I worked outside for most of the day, beginning to build a bridge on the back of the property. We hauled logs and old telephone poles to the site, and began cutting trees out of the way before the chainsaw started having issues. This evening Liz’s Uncle Gary came over for dinner, which was lovely.
